Adirondack Experience

Students in the Adirondack mountains - Lynn UniversityAlthough Lynn University is most commonly associated with the beaches and coastline of tropical South Florida, Lynn has had a longstanding love affair with the Adirondack Mountains.

That love affair allows us to offer students the ultimate “first-year experience” - a six-day adventure in one of the most beautiful areas of the world, the Adirondack Mountains.

Our base camp is located in the heart of the 6-million-acre Adirondack Park in Central New York. The Lynn Adirondack Experience is an incredible pre-orientation expedition for first-year and transfer students to learn not only about Lynn, but about one another and themselves.

Students in the Adirondack mountains - Lynn UniversityThe Adirondack Experience is designed to ease students' transition to college life. Breathtaking mountains and pristine lakes provide the backdrop
for a variety of outdoor activities and self-realization opportunities.

The trip demands a commitment and sense of enthusiasm from every participant and is structured to emphasize personal success and achievement, promote responsibility and communication and develop life skills such as awareness and confidence, leadership, goal-setting and problem-solving.
